Bette Box is Finland’s biggest beauty subscription box that delivers its surprise cosmetics to subscribers every month.
The year 2018 was a challenging one for Bette Box: subscriber counts were going down and new competitors started to enter the market. The beauty company wanted to renew their brand and build a deeper connection with their audience. We stepped in to help.
INCREASING ENGAGEMENT BY ACTIVATING THE AUDIENCE

Our task was to create consistent content that spoke to Bette’s audience. We took over social media channels, mailing lists and the Bette blog. We also created a closed Facebook group for subscribers, where they could share thoughts about the boxes and their contents with each other.
Above all, our goal was to increase engagement within the community. The content we produced often asked community members to do something, like share their experiences, vote on options and ask questions.
MORE TALK AMONG THE COMMUNITY
Ever since our involvement, the interactions between Bette and its community have grown significantly. A prime example is the closed Facebook group we created: it now has approximately 600 members, who will actively participate in discussion about the brand.
